Obituary For Larry Meeks May 11, 1944 - June 16, 2014 Larry Meeks, 70, of 207 Madison Street, Eden, passed away Monday afternoon, June 16, 2014, at Hospice Home of Rockingham County in Wentworth, NC. A funeral service will be held at 11 am Thursday at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Mt. View Cemetery, Ridgeway, VA. Mr. Meeks was born May 11, 1944 in Spray, NC , the son of the late General and Florence Meeks. He was a retired Truck Driver for Roy Stone Trucking and Warren Trucking. He is survived by son, Ronald Meeks and wife Michelle of Las Vegas, NV; daughter, Jennifer Carter and fiance, Michael Farmer of Madison; brother, Randolph Meeks and wife Pat of Axton, VA; grandchildren, Darren and Hunter Meeks, Brittany Dalton, Whitney Boles and Justin Parker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Larry Dewayne Meeks. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7 - 9 pm at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the home of Amanda Lambert 1129 Morgan Ford Road, Ridgeway, VA.
