Obituary For Michael Priddy April 29, 1944 - June 12, 2014 Michael Priddy, 70, of 516 Turner Street in Eden, passed away Thursday, June 12, 2014, at his home. A memorial service will be held 2pm Monday June 16th at St. Lukes Episcopal Church. Burial will follow in Overlook Cemetery. Mr. Priddy was born April 29, 1944 to the late Roosevelt and Maude Hopper Priddy in Rockingham County, NC. He was employed by the State of Virginia as a heating and air technician and served in the Army National Guard. He is survived by his brother Mitchell Priddy and wife Mary Ellen of Deltaville, VA, sons David Priddy of Eden and Matthew Priddy and wife Jessica of Ashboro, NC, grandchildren Zoe, Raven, Braxton and Karson Priddy and step granddaughter Kathy Cherry, special niece Michelle Lewis of Lynchburg, VA and 3 nephews Keith, Josh and Jonathan of Virginia, one aunt Stella Hopper, and special friends Milton, Linda, Debra and Misty. There will be no formal visitation. The family will receive friends 12:00 Monday before the service at 303 west Aiken Rd., Eden.
