Obituary For John Keith Wood February 12, 1965 - May 6, 2014 John Keith Wood, 49, formerly of Eden and most recently of Tampa, Florida, passed away May 6, 2014 at his home. A memorial service will be held at 6 PM on Friday, May 16 at New Life Chapel, 634 Monroe Street in Eden. Mr. Wood was born in Eden and graduated from the University of Florida. He was employed with United Healthcare. Surviving him are his parents, George "Bud" and Sarah Wood of Eden; son, Tyler Harriston Wood of the home; daughter, Kaley Kinard of Tampa, FL; brother, Alan Wood of Eden; two sisters, Diane Peyton and husband, Dennis of Plant City, FL and Karen Noakes and husband, Randy of Richmond, VA; his beloved granddaughter, Oaklynn Jane Dolby; and many special nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
