Obituary For Eula Mae Kennon Arthur
January 25, 1943 - April 26, 2014


Eula Mae Kennon Arthur, age 71 of 504 Glovenia St., Eden went to be with the Lord early Saturday morning, April 26th, 2014. The Funeral Service will be held Tuesday April 29th, 2pm at Fair Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow in Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Eula was born January 25, 1943 in Rockingham County to the late Johnny and Elsie Kennon. She attended Ruffin High School and was a caregiver to her mother and aunt for six years. She previously owned Friendly Diner and was famous for her down home cooking. She was owner/operator and a caregiver of the Leaksville Rest Home for 17 years.

Surviving are her daughters; Carolyn Paschall and husband Doug of Eden, Pam Clark and husband Chad of Eden, Stephanie Pulliam and husband Todd of Eden; sons Lonnie Hall and wife Teresa of Ruffin, NC, Mark Hall and wife Cindy of Reidsville, NC and Tyner "T" Arthur and wife Michelle of Eden; sisters, Thelma Meade, Geraldine Haymore and Eleanor Corum all of Eden and Virginia Jackson of Pelham; brother, JC Kennon of Reidsville; 19 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Tyner Ray Arthur, sisters Louise Moore and Mary Nichols and one brother Robert Kennon.

Visitation will be Monday evening April 28th 6 until 8pm at Fair Funeral Home, and other times at the home. Special thanks to Hospice of Rockingham County for all their care and support.
