Obituary For Paul "Pete" Turner November 22, 1943 - March 21, 2014 Paul "Pete" Junior Turner, 70 of 710 Oakwood Drive, Eden passed away on Friday March 21, 2014. A funeral service will be held 4 pm Monday at Fair Funeral Home in Eden, NC with burial to follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Ridgeway, VA. Mr. Turner was born November 22, 1943 in Henry County, VA. to the late Steven and Mallie Alley Turner. He loved to hunt and enjoyed watching NASCAR and Dirt Track racing. He was a truck driver for Prillaman Chemical Company in Martinsville and most recently for Fleetmaster Trucking. He was of the Baptist faith. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Hazel Turner Fowler. Surviving are wife, Mary Weaver Turner of the home; daughter, April Fail and husband Ricky Edward Fail of Reidsville; sisters, Louise Purdy of Bassett, VA, Pauline Carter of Eden, NC, Mary Stevens of Nathalie, VA, Lorraine Smith of Clover, VA and Peggy Wright of Collinsville, VA. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 5-7 pm at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the home.
