Obituary For Mason Wayne Carter February 14, 2001 - March 21, 2014 Mason Wayne Carter, age 13 of 3998 Settle Bridge Rd. Stoneville, passed away accidentally as a result of a vehicle and deer collision on Friday evening March 21, 2014. A funeral service will be held 11a.m. Tuesday at Fair Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Floyd Baptist Church Cemetery. Mason was born February 14, 2001 in Eden. He was a seventh grader at Western Rockingham Middle School where he was on the Wrestling Team. He also played football for the Stoneville Eagles. Surviving are his parents, Kenny and Nicole Pierson Carter; brother, Michael Carter; grandmother, Mickie Powell and husband Andy of Eden; grandmother, Barbie Holt of Stoneville; grandparents, Jim and Cathy Pierson of Georgia; Great Grandmother Nancy Hamlett; uncles, Chris Pierson of Stoneville, Buck Carter of South Carolina, Andrew and Adam Powell of Greensboro, Doug Symmes of Eden and Steve Webb of Stoneville; aunts, Tracey Pierson, Lynn Snyder of Stoneville, Cindy Carter of South Carolina, Tammy Williams of Pelham, Brooke Page of Greensboro and Karla Webb of Stoneville; cousins, Michael, Steven, Kaitlyn, Kristin, Nathaniel, Autumn and Gavin; many special friends.
