Obituary For Joan "Jo Anne" Lester Keaton September 27, 1948 - March 4, 2014 ***The funeral service for Joan Lester Keaton has been postponed due to weather. The service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday morning, March 8, at Christian View Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial will follow in Mt. View Cemetery in Ridgeway, VA. Joan "Jo Anne" Lester Keaton, age 65 of 6770 US 220 Bus Stoneville,NC passed away on Tuesday morning March 4, 2014 at Hospice Home of Rockingham County. A funeral service will be held on Friday the 7th of March at 2pm at Christian View Pentecostal Holiness Church with burial to follow at Mt. View Cemetery in Ridgeway, VA. Joan was born September 27, 1948 to the late Fred and Myrtle Joyce Lester. She was a member of Christian View Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was a graduate of Stoneville High School Class of 1967. Joan worked at Fieldcrest Mills for many years and later at Precision Face Veneer, Inc. She is survived by her husband, Michael Keaton, Sr. of the home; daughter Sonya Adkins of Bedford, TX; grandchild, Corey Lynn Helbert of Stoneville; step-children, Michael Keaton, II of Rocky Mt. VA and Michelle Bagwell of Eden; two step-grandchildren, Haleigh and Mason Keaton of Rocky Mt. VA.; brothers, Billy Lester and wife Janet and Bobby Lester and wife Lois all of Stoneville; special cousin, Ricky Joyce of Glocester, VA. Visitation will be held on Thursday 7-9 pm at Christian View Pentecostal Holiness Church, "multie-purpose" building and other times at the home of her brother Billy Lester, 6775 US 220 Bus , Stoneville, NC.
