Obituary For Clyde "Doc" Soyars December 27, 1931 - March 2, 2014 Clyde "Doc" Bailey Soyars age 82 of 213 Broad Street, Reidsville, passed away on Sunday afternoon, March 2, 2014 at his home. A funeral service will be held 2pm on Wednesday March 5, 2014 at Fair Funeral Home with burial to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Eden. Mr. Soyars was born December 27, 1931 in Cascade,Virginia to the late Cove Allen Soyars and Lillian Soyars. He was retired from Spray Cotton Mills and was a lifetime member of Cascade Baptist Church. Surviving are wife, Sherry Mize Soyars of the home; daughters, Kitty Janney and husband Bobby of Newport News, VA.,Cheyenne Soyars of Reidsville and Cheri Bray and husband David also of Reidsville, brother, James Soyars and wife Joan of Cascade, VA; 5 grandchildren, Bailey, Joe, Kayla, Emily Bray and Robert Janney, Jr.; 2 great- grandchildren, Taelor and Emma Janney; numerous neices and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6 -8 pm at Fair Funeral Home in Eden and other times at the home.
