Obituary For Stanley Hardin Kingston October 14, 1923 - February 3, 2014 Stanley Hardin Kingston, 90, of 126 Carrie Lane in Eden, passed away Monday morning, February 3, 2014 at Brian Center Health and Rehabilitation. A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, February 5, at Overlook Cemetery. Mr. Kingston was born October 14, 1923 in Spray, NC. He was the son of the late George Henry Kingston and Julina Mabe Kingston. Mr. Kingston was a long-time musician and "loved to play his music". He was a retired carpenter. He is survived by his daughter, Roberta Wilson and husband, Curtis of Eden; two sons, Michael Kingston and wife, Gina of Eden and Johnnie Kingston, Sr. of Eden; Daughter-In-Law Margaret Kingston; Nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and sister, Doris Powell of Eden. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Carl Kingston; daughter-in-law, Sherry Kingston; brothers, Newton, Benjamin and Samuel Kington; and sisters, Carrie Dixon and Lizzie Newman. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, 6 - 8 PM, at Fair Funeral Home and other times at 1436 Lincoln Street in Eden.
