Obituary For Judy Powell Richardson January 27, 1938 - December 25, 2013 Judy Powell Richardson, 75, of 114 Madison Street in Eden, passed away Wednesday evening, December 25, 2013, at her home. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, December 28, at First Church of the Brethren. Burial will follow in Lawson Cemetery. Mrs. Richardson was born January 27, 1938 in Spray, NC. She was the daughter of the late Bruce Lloyd Powell and Margaret Earles Powell. Mrs. Richardson was a member of First Church of the Brethren where she played the organ and piano for over 50 years. She was a retired teacher with Rockingham County Schools. She is survived by her husband, Kent Ray Richardson of the home; daughter, Kimberly Wood and husband, David of Eden; son, Russ Richardson and wife, Gina of Eden; four grandchildren, Ethan Wood and wife, Katrina and Levi, Rebekah and Kolby Richardson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Becky Powell Brown. The family will receive friends Friday evening, 6 - 8 PM, at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
