Obituary For Helen Dickerson Hopkins December 4, 1932 - November 14, 2013 Helen Dickerson Hopkins, 80, passed away late Thursday night, November 14, 2013, at Morehead Memorial Hospital. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, November 17, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Happy Home Church Cemetery. Mrs. Hopkins was born December 4, 1932 in Franklin County, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Ira Hassel Dickerson and Josephine Stump Dickerson. She was a member of Church of God of Prophecy and was a retiree of Spray Cotton Mill. She is survived by two sisters, Beverline Joyce and husband, Mike of Eden, and Alene Austin and friend, Joe Martin of Eden; and four brothers, David Dickerson and friend, Faye Sawyers of Eden, Donald Earl Dickerson and wife, Loretta of Reidsville, Bobby Dickerson of Eden and Milton Dickerson and wife, Brenda, of Eden. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Hopkins and brother, Troy Dickerson. The family will receive friends Saturday evening, 6 - 8 PM, at Fair Funeral Home and other times at the home of Alene Austin and Joe, 1807 Mill Avenue in Eden.
