Obituary For Harold Wayne Noles October 2, 1942 - November 11, 2013 Harold "Wayne" Noles, 71, of 7912 Southerland Drive in Browns Summit, passed away Monday night, November 11, 2013, at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro. His funeral service will be held at 3:30 PM on Thursday, November 14, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Overlook Cemetery. Mr. Noles was born October 2, 1942 in Rockingham County, NC, son of the late Willie Van Noles and Margaret Self Noles. He was a proud member of the 1958 Morehead High School championship football team. Mr. Noles was a "gadget guru", and enjoyed target shooting, biking, model railroading and camping. He was a man of deep faith. He is survived by his wife, Helen Ramsey Noles, of the home; son, Andy Noles and wife, Starr of Concord; daughter, Amy Noles of Lancaster, SC; grandchildren, Bryce and Blake Noles of Concord; sister, Fay Edens of Eden; half brothers, Elwood O'Dell of Eden and Joe Hill of California; nieces, Dana Mitchell of Greensboro and Dara Dunn of Rockingham County, NC; and grand-niece, Shannon Hale of Eden. The family will receive friends immediately following the burial at Morehead - Fair House which is located next-door to the funeral home.
