Obituary For Joan Boaz Parker April 14, 1947 - October 20, 2013 Joan Boaz Parker, 66, of 135 Parker Road, Eden passed away Sunday October 20, 2013 at home. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Fair Funeral Home Chapel. Joan was born April 14,1947 to the late Thomas and Avis Arthur Boaz,and was a member St. Lukes Episcopal Church. Mrs. Parker is survived by her son; John Bunyan Parker III and wife Kaye of Eden, daughter; Catherine Parker Bumgarner and husband Randy of Martinsville, Va. , sister; Yvonne Boaz McFalls and husband Dr. Frederick McFalls of Eden., grandchildren, Savannah, John Thomas, Timothy, Julianna. nephew, Hunter McFalls,and numerous cousins. In addition to her parents Joan is preceded in death by her husband John Bunyan Parker, Jr. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday evening at Fair Funeral Home and other times at 135 Parker Rd., Eden.
