Obituary For Charlie Lane Finney May 31, 1937 - September 17, 2013 Charlie Lane Finney, 76, of 280 Seedling Road in Reidsville, passed away at his home Tuesday evening, September 17, 2013. Mr. Finney was born May 31, 1937 in Reidsville, NC, son of the late Posie and Lena Walker Finney. He was a retired brick layer. He is survived by his two sons, Charles Finney and wife, Diane of Reidsville and Coleman Lee Finney and wife, Dana of South Carolina; two daughters, Nora Jane Fitch and husband, David and Tammy Sue Corum and husband, Steven, both of Reidsville; 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; sisters, Lois Castle and Louise Foley; and three brothers, Sam Finney, John Hall and Jessie Finney. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Perdue Finney; granddaughter, Ashley Finney; and sisters, Helen and Bobbie Jean. The family will receive friends Friday evening, 6 - 8 PM, at Fair Funeral Home and other time at the home of Charles Finney, 913 Pannel Road in Reidsville.
